Significance of a Roof in Christian life

 

During one of my previous teachings in "Relationship by God's grace". there was a God graced lady who asked  a question i didn't at the time have the answer to but i gave her a logical answer and also a scripture, i explained what i believed it meant,, and the question was.

"what does a roof of a house represent in Christian life"?

Here was my answer:

The love of Christ over ones whole life.

Like psalm 91:4 

He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

It means you have to call him first, you can't have a house without a roof, you can't say you are a Christian but don't like praying, you can't say have faith in God and you are still having doubts

and she said 

So it means dreaming of a house without roof means you don't have God's protection?

Well...

The answer to this question is now clear to me after days of thinking, when this question came into my head, i asked God to help me remember to teach about it.

so a roof of a house represents Wholeness

Sovereignty, Kindness, Love, God's protection, and grace. 

it signifies God's promises over our life (whether Christian or not).

God is not selective of the child to love, because He loves everyone of them yet His love is extended to those He bid come.
